President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said he was ready to take the role of a guarantor of the Ukrainian troops’ withdrawal from the Debaltseve ‘boiler’.

At a meeting with Sumomo Chakrabarti, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said he was ready to solve the issue of withdrawal of the Ukrainian army from Debaltseve within a day. According to him, it can be done against guarantees of Belarus.

“Today, there is a very serious situation after the Minsk Agreement regarding Debaltseve. Belarus could play an important role in resolving this conflict, if the parties involved in it, wanted it,” Lukashenko said.

“Today, we offered the Ukrainian and another party involved in the conflict, to resolve the problem of Debaltseve in one day, if it was wanted by Ukraine, Russia, DPR and LPR,” the Belarusian leader said.
