Global Emerging Markets expressed as iShares MSCI EM ETF (EEM) have been remaining in both negative trend and momentum. However, if the recent market bounce appears to be sustainable during the week commencing December, 21st we may see momentum turing into positive territory. Assuming that’s the case we would be recommending to increase the maximum equity allocation from 30% up to 50%. For the moment as of last Friday closing prices we recommend to keep the asset allocation mix unchanged (equities: 30% & cash: 70%) vs. the last week model outputs. The EEM ETF continues trading below all three moving averages (20, 50 and 200 days).
